Lifting columns for electric height adjustment
Versatile solutions
Lifting columns from RK Rose+Krieger are typically used for the electrical height adjustment of (assembly) workstations, medical facilities or complex systems in mechanical engineering. However, the quiet, safe and elegant lifting elements are also suitable for more unusual applications.
The lifting column portfolio of the Minden-based manufacturer of components for linear, connection and profile technology as well as system solutions for automation and production applications offers the right lifting element for almost any application. The lifting columns combine motorized height adjustment with a stable guide. As the entire technology is concealed inside the lifting column, the electric lifting elements made of anodized aluminium are also visually appealing and can even be used without cladding.
As the electric lifting columns can be put into operation without any electrical engineering knowledge, they are also suitable for use in the non-industrial sector. Here they often make unusual applications possible in the first place. For example, the realization of a solarium for riding horses, whose radiant heater can be adjusted in height using an RK Powerlift lifting column mounted on the stable ceiling and thus adapted to the size of the respective horse. Originally developed specifically for mono-column applications in the medical technology sector, the lifting column is designed for a tensile or compressive load of 3,000 newtons and is available with standard strokes of 300, 400 and 500 millimetres and for mains voltages ranging from 100 to 240 volts (wide-range input). An integrated spindle drive ensures quiet operation.
In addition to the stable RK Powerlift lifting columns and the Alpha Colonne, the product range also includes the product family of slimline Multilift II lifting columns with a telescopic version, a version specially designed for ESD assembly tables, a lifting column impact with integrated damping system and the Safety version for overhead applications and clean for cleanroom use. RK Rose+Krieger's portfolio also includes the particularly delicate RK Slimlift with a diameter of 92 millimetres and the multi-stage Lambda column for high tensile and compressive loads of up to 4,500 newtons. Each lifting column can be adapted to customer requirements on request. "Many of the lifting columns that are now part of the standard range were initially customer-specific solutions," explains Lukas Göking, Product Manager at RK Rose+Krieger.
