Andreas Krinninger remains Chairman of the Management Board of Linde Material Handling

The Supervisory Board of Linde Material Handling GmbH has extended the contract of the company's Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Andreas Krinninger (49), by four years. This means that Krinninger will continue to manage the business of the KION Group's Linde MH EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) operating unit as President until at least the end of 2021.

"Andreas Krinninger stands for the successful further development of the Linde brand from a pure manufacturer of industrial trucks to a solution provider along the entire material flow," explained Thomas Toepfer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Linde Material Handling GmbH. "Krinninger has done an excellent job in recent years and leads the Operating Unit with great customer focus, passion and a clear strategic direction."

Mechanical engineer Andreas Krinninger has been President of Linde Material Handling EMEA since January 1, 2016. At the same time, he remains Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Operating Unit (since January 1, 2014). Krinninger initially joined the KION Group in 2012 as Chief Restructuring Officer, where he was already responsible for Group-wide projects to increase revenue and improve products and efficiency. From 2007 to 2011 he was a Director at KKR Capstone. Prior to that, he held senior management positions at fittings manufacturer Grohe and airline caterer LSG Sky Chefs. From 1995 to 2001, he worked for the management consultancy McKinsey. He studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge/USA, and after his first years at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, he obtained a Master of Science in Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
