World's first cruise control with eddy current brake
Interroll presented the Magnetic Speed Controller MSC 50 to the UK market for the first time at IMHX 2016 in Birmingham. With the MSC 50, Interroll is the first product manufacturer in intralogistics to offer a solution in this segment. Interroll also presented the MCP modular conveyor platform, the 24 V DC RollerDrive and flow storage solutions in Birmingham. The MSC 50 is a solution for speed control of cardboard boxes and plastic containers on inclined roller conveyors, at the end of sorters and on spiral conveyors. In the weight range from 0.5 to 35 kg, the new technology enables a reliable start-up of light goods on inclined roller conveyors as well as an optimally controlled speed of heavy goods. This makes the MSC 50 suitable for use in the warehousing, e-commerce, postal, food and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as for customers who offer live storage for heavy containers.
