TGW: Innovative technology for Playmobil
geobra Brandstätter Stiftung & Co KG, manufacturer of Playmobil, is expanding its existing logistics center at the Herrieden site. TGW supplies a new intralogistics solution. The new Playmobil building section will handle the picking and shipping of Internet orders as well as orders from the retail business. With an investment of almost 8 million euros, a new TGW logistics system with conveyor technology and a three-aisle shuttle warehouse with around 24,000 storage locations will be created. The existing halls will be connected. TGW will also supply the control system and the warehouse management system. The entire logistics system is scalable.
