Schmalz: Vacuum without compressed air
With the electric vacuum generator ECBP, J. Schmalz GmbH has developed an intelligent and compressed air-independent vacuum generator. The ECBP has an integrated interface for gripper and robot connection and is particularly suitable for use on lightweight robots in mobile robotics, but also for stationary handling tasks. The electric vacuum generator ECBP is ideal for handling suction-tight and slightly porous pieces. It has a speed control that regulates the power of the pump: A lot of suction power, and therefore energy, is required when porous workpieces such as cardboard boxes are moved. Absorbent materials, on the other hand, require less power.
