Resilient and always on track with Forbo Movement Systems
Forbo Movement Systems is expanding its product range with elastic conveyor and processing belts. The belts in the new EL-Line are ideal for use with short center distances. Thanks to the innovative belt design with a semi-elastic fabric tension member, the belts can be used with
1.5 up to 5 percent can be stretched or pre-tensioned. This pre-tensioning ensures self-tracking running properties of the belt. The use of tensioning devices in corresponding constructions becomes superfluous. There is also no need to apply profiles to the belt or make grooves in the drums and sliding tables. Two different surface structures are currently available within the EL-line: longitudinally grooved (LG) or negative pyramid (NP). Both variants are "flame retardant" in accordance with EN 340 (SE). Due to the thin, single-ply belt design, particularly narrow deflections can be realized with the smallest drum diameters (Dmin = 40 mm). Even small items can be safely transferred from one belt to the next.
