Palletizing expertise on the can
An exclusive special solution for the safe depalletizing of aerosol cans can be seen at Trapo. A particular challenge in this project is the high risk of the slim cans tipping over during handling. The solution: a customized, highly efficient multifunctional gripper.
The high-performance depalletizing station for the cosmetics industry handles cans with a capacity of 35 to 250 millilitres from trays of different dimensions. The complex multifunctional gripper performs a sensor-monitored measuring run over the tray. The surface suction cup sucks the cans from the full pallet and places them safely on the moving modular belt. Lateral scanning vacuum cups ensure that the layer pads are picked up and discharged separately. The cans and layer pads on the gripper are separated on the tilting table.
