Construction of the third production hall
Auer Packaging expands
Packaging specialist Auer Packaging is investing at its site in Amerang: the company acquired the technology park in Amerang in 2014 and is now starting work on the construction of a third production hall on the 50,000 square meter site. The hall is scheduled for completion in December 2019.
Auer Packaging is underpinning the position of its headquarters in Amerang as the center of its global activities with further investments in the site. In addition to the two existing production halls, a third production hall will be built on the site of the technology park. In future, the approximately 3000 square meter area will be used for the production of large load carriers and pallets. Of a total of 14 injection molding machines that Auer Packaging ordered a few days ago, six will go into operation in production hall 2 in December and eight injection molding machines in the new production hall 3 from February 2020. Three of the new injection molding machines have a clamping force of 40,500 kN. The largest injection molding machine is 24 x 5 x 4 meters in size. The capacities can thus be significantly expanded. The "Made in Bavaria" success story continues!
