The green idea has a long tradition at bekuplast: the first plastic containers produced by the company in 1985 were intended for transporting plants.

Over 20 million products per year
Today, the group of companies develops, produces and sells reusable solutions worldwide that are used in all industries. The plastic containers, trays and pallets are produced at two sites in Germany and Poland. Around 20 million products are manufactured annually at the German headquarters alone. Production takes place on an area of 12.1 hectares using energy-efficient, high-performance injection molding machines and modern robot technology. In addition to production, the development of innovative reusable solutions for special logistical requirements is one of the company's core competencies. Driving logistics forward with sustainable solutions is not only the goal, but also the motivation of the company, which developed the first collapsible containers back in the early 1990s. Collapsible containers have revolutionized logistics, and in many sectors, such as fresh produce logistics, the volume-reducible containers are now indispensable. The empty collapsible containers from bekuplast can simply be folded up after use and the volume is reduced by up to 80 percent.

The company's innovative strength is also evident in many other areas. As a partner to leading system providers, bekuplast knows the requirements of intralogistics inside out and launched the "contecline" at the beginning of 2020. The "contecline" container series was specially designed for use in miniload and shuttle systems and impresses with its quiet, safe and trouble-free operation in conveyor technology. Solutions such as the company's universal tray, which won an award from materialfluss, also demonstrate its innovative strength. Even in economically turbulent times, bekuplast is looking positively to the future. The company is ideally positioned for the future with new challenges and great opportunities.

The history of bekuplast
bekuplast GmbH was founded on August 21, 1985. The company produced plastic containers for transporting flower bulbs on an injection molding machine in Emlichheim, Lower Saxony. In the following years, the range of containers was continuously expanded and the company developed its first own products. In 1994, the company moved to its current headquarters in Ringe, which has been continuously expanded ever since.
