Sales partner network grows

Martin Schrüfer,

Universal Robots has two new partners

The cobot company Universal Robots (UR) welcomes two new sales partners in Germany: Hesse Vorrichtungen und Fertigungstechnik GmbH and A² Anlagenoptimierung & Anwendungstechnik GmbH are strengthening the Danish company's partner network.

"The year 2020 has proven that everything can change from one second to the next. For manufacturing companies, it is critical to success these days to react quickly and flexibly to new challenges," explains Andrea Alboni, Regional Sales Director Western Europe at Universal Robots. "Collaborative robotics gives companies of all sizes the agility they need to do this, helping them to position themselves for the future."

The global UR network already has over 700 partners. The aim of the cobot pioneer is to bring the benefits of collaborative robotics to small and medium-sized companies. In this respect, Alboni sees the partner network as a key player: "Our partners are close to the market. They know what drives customers and work with them to develop tailor-made solutions for the challenges of day-to-day production."

Hesse has been relying on industrial robotics for ten years, "so we were just waiting to find a suitable robot with which we could quickly implement automation solutions for our customers," reports Rainer Hesse, Managing Director and founder of Hesse Vorrichtungen und Fertigungstechnik GmbH. With the cobots from Universal Robots, the system integrator has now found the right products to offer its customers solutions.

A² Anlagenoptimierung & Anwendungstechnik GmbH has also been an official Certified System Integrator of Universal Robots since November. The Stuttgart-based provider of robotics and CNC solutions optimizes its customers' processes according to the lean principle. Founded in 2017, the company specializes in robotics concepts.

Christoph Schneider, Managing Partner of A² GmbH, is convinced that automation in the coming years will be fundamentally different from previous concepts: "Flexibility instead of focusing on one item, collaboration instead of strict separation and intelligent safety concepts instead of fences", Schneider sees this as groundbreaking. With Universal Robots, A² has chosen a partner whose products and innovations offer customers precisely this type of automation.
