Torwegge nominated for IFOY Award with FTS

For the second time, a Torwegge product is among the finalists for the IFOY Award: The ManipulaTORsten is the latest development stage of the TORsten automated guided vehicle system (AGV). It is capable of controlling a robot arm.

This makes it possible to integrate it into logistics and production processes as a mobile manipulator. The AGV has been nominated in the "AGV/Shuttle" category. The final winner in this category will be announced on April 26 at the awards ceremony in Vienna's Hofburg Palace. "The fact that we have been nominated for the most important innovation award in intralogistics for the second time with TORsten makes us proud," says Jörn Dauer, Head of Intralogistics at Torwegge Intralogistics. The Manipula-TORsten is the result of the flexible modularity of the basic vehicle, which can be expanded using various components.
