Test Camp Intralogistics 2024
New special test area and conference on mobile robotics
This year, the Intralogistics Test Camp will be expanded to include a Mobile Robotics Conference and a special test area.
Around 2,000 square meters of test space in Hall 4 at Messe Dortmund on 10 and 11 April 2024 will be dedicated solely to the topic of mobile robotics. The exhibitors will be grouped around a highlight of the event - the AGV Mesh-Up of the VDMA Materials Handling and Intralogistics Association, which celebrated its world premiere in Dortmund in 2020. Including the finalists of the International Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY) Award, B2B visitors will have around 10,000 square meters of exhibition and test space to try out.
Focus on mobile robotics on the second day
For the second day of the event, the Main Stage is reserved exclusively for the topic of mobile robotics. In addition to a keynote speech, panel discussions and a panel discussion on the VDA 5050 communication interface, numerous specialist presentations by scientists, manufacturers and users are also planned. Modern lounge areas offer opportunities for an intensive exchange of experiences between users and suppliers.
German robotics and automation sector is growing
The day before, a get-together with food, drinks and a DJ will take place in the evening for networking. "In previous years, both the IFOY Award and the Intralogistics Test Camp reflected the trend towards more and more mobile robots in production and intralogistics. And despite inflation, the energy crisis and war, the German robotics and automation industry is forecasting growth of 9 percent to 15.7 billion euros in turnover for 2023. The expansion of the mobile robotics area for the future follows this development - especially as the transformation of many industries has only just begun and innovative, flexible automation solutions are the key to the future," emphasizes Thilo Jörgl from the management of Test Camp Intralogistics. Visitors can once again gain food for thought from thematic highlight tours and the conference program.
