Alliance for warehouse logistics

Reesink Logistic Solutions and Movu Robotics cooperate

The integrator Reesink Logistic Solutions, a subsidiary of Royal Reesink, and the robotics and automation specialist Movu Robotics, a subsidiary of the Stow Group, present the results of their collaboration: two projects for the Weinig Group in Germany and B&S in the Netherlands demonstrate the partnership's innovative approach to logistical challenges, including a project in the field of cold storage logistics.

In Germany, the Weinig Group, known for its wood processing technologies, will benefit from a compact and efficient automated pallet and item storage and retrieval system developed by Reesink Logistic Solutions. This system streamlines the flow of parts, semi-finished and finished products, significantly increases efficiency and reduces manual handling by using a Movu-Atlas pallet shuttle system in combination with an AutoStore system.

Pallet-based goods-to-person solution

The B&S project in the Netherlands takes automation one step further with its concept for a pallet-based goods-to-person solution in a cold store environment. In this project, the Movu Atlas automated pallet transport systems, the Movu ifollow AMRs, the pallet conveyor system and the fast-pick stations are combined into a unique, state-of-the-art and scalable pallet-based goods-to-person solution.

Both the Movu Atlas shuttles and the ifollow AMRs can be used in temperatures ranging from -25 to +40 degrees Celsius. The B&S solution is an example of how Reesink and Movu technologies can be used to meet the stringent requirements of temperature-controlled warehousing while ensuring excellent operation.
