1,384 exhibitors (up 8.1 percent on the previous year), of which almost one in four companies (24.6 percent) came from abroad, occupied 102,100 square meters of exhibition space (up seven percent), exceeding 100,000 square meters for the first time this year. Exhibition Director Peter Kazander was delighted with the high demand from international exhibitors: "In view of the numerous international entanglements and uncertainties for trade and business that we are currently experiencing, the presence of exhibitors from 36 countries - four more than in 2016 - was by no means a matter of course."
