SRM models Colibri and Puma for containers, cartons, pallets and mesh boxes
At LogiMAT 2016, intralogistics provider Winkel will be presenting innovative solutions for automated warehouse and order picking technology. In Hall 1 at Stand 1D67, visitors can find out more about the dynamic and energy-efficient Colibri and PUMA storage and retrieval machines (SRMs), among other things.

With the stacker crane models Colibri for containers and cartons and PUMA for pallets and pallet cages, Winkel GmbH offers two innovative and proven standard solutions that impress with their slim design, virtually vibration-free behavior and high acceleration. Winkel devices can be built significantly lighter and stiffer and are therefore considerably more dynamic. They achieve a 25 percent higher throughput than competitor products - and consume considerably less energy in the process. They also make better use of the available storage volume thanks to their unique braking system and compact design. Warehouse operators and system integrators can therefore accommodate more bays and levels in the same space and height.
The Fast Pick Station will also be on display. The picking solution increases ergonomics at the workplace and also ensures lean processes, high picking performance and picking quality as well as gentle goods handling. It consists of a picking table on a platform, a chute underneath and an integrated film stretcher. Load carriers can be loaded with different goods on the table. The employee can adjust the height individually. The full load carrier is conveyed downwards via the chute. A stretch wrapper then wraps the goods in film to secure them for further transportation. At the same time, a buffer provides a new load carrier so that the order picker can continue working without interruption.
