Managing Director leaves: Klaus Tersteegen leaves SSI Schäfer
As materialfluss learned on November 6, Klaus Tersteegen, Managing Director of Fritz Schäfer GmbH, has left the company at short notice. The company confirmed the news after repeated inquiries from materialfluss on November 12 with the following statement, which is reproduced here in full:
"Klaus Tersteegen, Managing Director of Fritz Schäfer GmbH in Neunkirchen, left the company on October 31, 2019 to pursue new challenges. We would like to thank Mr. Tersteegen for his commitment and dedication during his 25 years at SSI Schaefer."
Klaus Tersteegen was one of the founding fathers of SSI Schaefer and very well known in the industry - not least as the host of the SSI Schaefer Evening on the fringes of the German Logistics Congress in Berlin at the end of October.
At the end of August, SSI Schaefer announced the departure of Harrie Swinkels, CEO of the SSI Schaefer Group(materialfluss reported exclusively).
