Transporeon, Europe's leading network provider for transport logistics services, is aligning itself along the value chain. With ControlPay, the company covers the final processing steps relating to automated invoicing and the analysis of payment-related data.

ControlPay's service offering is a logical addition to Transporeon's existing portfolio of market information services, freight purchasing, delivery execution and invoicing. ControlPay optimizes the freight billing process for both shippers and carriers. Through its platform, ControlPay collects critical data across all modes of transportation. This gives users a comprehensive and informed insight into their logistics operations. This is based exclusively on one source and verified data. The merger of Transporeon and ControlPay also brings considerable synergies: Already today, more than a third of all ControlPay users also belong to Transporeon's customer base.

"We are pleased to both expand the service offering for our customers and welcome our new colleagues to the Transporeon family," said Stephan Sieber, CEO of Transporeon. He continued: "ControlPay expands our customer offering into mission-critical areas such as billing automation and payment analytics. It is an ideal addition to our service portfolio in the areas of tendering and procurement, transportation execution with real-time data, market intelligence and settlement services. With regard to ControlPay's customers and highly qualified employees, we are committed to continuing to offer the first-class service ControlPay is known for."
