Six Volvo trucks for heavy-duty transport at Kübler

Volvo Trucks impresses Spedition Kübler GmbH in Michelfeld with the quality of its trucks: six brand-new tractor units are now supporting the forwarding company for the first time.

The new trucks include four Volvo FH 540 6x4s with a gross combination weight of up to 100 tons and two Volvo FH16 650 8x4s with a gross combination weight of up to 160 tons.
Kübler will continue to rely on Volvo Trucks to ensure that its heavy goods such as aircraft, ships and transformer stations arrive safely worldwide. Michael Schweiher, sales consultant at the Volvo branch in Heilbronn, has now handed over the six new Volvo FH and Volvo FH16 tractor units to Felix Mangold, technical manager and authorized signatory of Spedition Kübler GmbH. "We are delighted that we can now hand over the vehicles to Kübler," emphasizes Schweiher. Volvo Trucks had to meet the Kübler drivers' extensive list of requirements. "Our drivers had a say in the decision," says authorized signatory Mangold. "It is a challenging task to find vehicles that meet our current standards of safety, quality and sustainability. In Volvo, we have found a reliable manufacturer for just such vehicles. We are very pleased to integrate the new tractor units into our fleet."

When equipping the tractor units, Spedition Kübler focused on safety and comfort for the drivers as well as sustainability. The vehicles are equipped with the latest driving and safety assistants, even beyond the legal requirements. The reliability of the vehicles was also a major concern for the company. "All vehicles are equipped with our Gold full maintenance contract," says Schweiher. The trucks are all equipped with a Volvo I-Shift transmission with additional crawler gears, which makes driving easier, safer and more comfortable. Volvo Dynamic Steering ensures perfect stability and complete control at any speed. The driving stability assistant corrects unintended steering movements and even compensates for strong crosswind effects. Mangold adds: "We need these advantages and supports to ensure that our vehicles arrive safely at their destination with the often delicate loads."
