MAN Truck & Bus Germany breaks the sound barrier
The 25,000th truck delivered by MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland in 2018 went to Reinfelder Transporte, Dettelbach. The TGX 18.640 semitrailer tractor was delivered to the Franconian company in a festive ceremony shortly before the turn of the year.
The top model from the MAN range now completes the fleet of eleven vehicles of the company, which mainly operates in the bulk goods sector. The MAN TGX 18.640 powerhouse aims to impress with 640 hp from 15.2 liters and a maximum torque of 3,000 Nm, "the intelligent MAN TipMatic gearbox combines outstanding economy with maximum driving comfort," writes the company. And further: "Naturally, the new MAN is now the flagship of the Reinfelder company fleet, as a vehicle with the most powerful engine and a very high-quality interior in leather/Alcantara".
