With an investment volume of around 8.5 million euros for this pioneering large-scale project, the distribution center on Europastrasse 233 (Bundesstrasse 213) in Herzlake has a total area of 38,000 square meters. This corresponds to five and a half soccer fields. The covered storage area of 8,400 square meters is spread over twelve levels. There is space for 17,500 Euro pallets and 16,000 containers for smaller spare parts. Currently, around 40 employees pick more than 23,000 items per month and dispatch them in the shortest possible time. For customers and service partners, all available parts are dispatched individually overnight or within a defined time window if required. The central spare parts center also serves important branch offices in Istanbul, Budapest, Lyon, Scandinavia and the Baltic states. The portfolio of the dispatch center in Herzlake includes spare parts for trailers, superstructures, container chassis, flatbed and box semi-trailers, CEP vehicles for courier express services and for Krone's own trailer axles.
