Joachim Schlereth becomes Head of Mercedes-Benz Truck Sales and Services Germany
Joachim Schlereth becomes Head of Mercedes-Benz Truck Sales and Services Germany. He succeeds Andreas Schmidt.
The latter will take over the management of the Württemberg Truck Sales Directorate and the Bavarian Truck Sales Directorate on an interim basis at the beginning of November. Joachim Schlereth is currently Sales Director Trucks at Verbund Bavaria. He joined the company in 1989 and has held various management positions in the commercial vehicle business. He was also instrumental in setting up CharterWay Germany, the provider of services and mobility for the procurement, servicing and management of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles.
Schmid is currently part of the Management Board of Mercedes-Benz Sales Germany and is responsible for Mercedes-Benz and FUSO Truck Sales & Services in the German market. Previously, he was responsible for commercial vehicle sales at Mercedes-Benz Italia as well as sales management and sales controlling for Mercedes-Benz Trucks worldwide.
