FUSO outsources breakdown assistance to ADAC Truckservice

The Daimler subsidiary FUSO has switched to ADAC Truckservice. The Laichingen-based company recently became responsible for mobility management for the Japanese commercial vehicle brand. FUSO customers from Germany now receive immediate assistance throughout Europe via the free 24/7 hotline in the event of a breakdown.

"For our customers, we value the fastest help available on the market. At Daimler, we have been working successfully with ADAC Truckservice for years and appreciate the professional service," says Carsten Prager, Head of Customer Services & Parts Trucks Germany at Daimler.

The scope of services for the commercial vehicle manufacturer includes on-site assistance and all towing services. ADAC Truckservice also handles all administrative processes such as warranty checks and central billing management. In the event of a breakdown, the service agents first check whether one of a total of 179 FUSO partner workshops in the vicinity can provide breakdown assistance. If this is not the case, ADAC Truckservice forwards the request to its own network with over 800 locations and more than 3,000 breakdown mechanics in Germany.

The FUSO brand is an integral part of Daimler Trucks. Established as a competence center for light trucks, FUSO produces around 160,000 vehicles every year and sells them worldwide - in more than 30 countries in Europe alone. Around 12,000 FUSO Canters are currently in use in Germany.
