Swisslog: Automated warehouse for Kühne + Nagel
Kuehne + Nagel, one of the world's leading logistics service providers, has commissioned Swisslog AG to build an automated high-bay pallet warehouse. It is scheduled to go into operation in 2018. The warehouse will be part of the Swiss Logistics Hub for pharmaceuticals and healthcare, which Kuehne + Nagel is building at its Swiss site in Möhlin in the canton of Aargau. From here, the logistics service provider will offer warehousing and order picking services as well as door-to-door transportation of sensitive and temperature-controlled products for customers from the Swiss and international pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. The hub in Möhlin will also focus on value-added services. All transportation and logistics services are carried out under one roof to GxP-compliant standards.
