psb: More than 1,000 picks per hour possible
With the high-performance rotapick picking system from psb, picking rates of more than 1,000 picks per hour can be achieved per workstation. Various operating modes such as multi-source picking, multi-order picking and multi-target picking or even combinations of these are possible with the system. In addition, returns can be restocked economically in e-commerce, for example. Depending on the expansion stage, the modular rotapick is able to buffer 60 source or order totes at the picking station and make them available immediately if required. This eliminates uneconomical multiple transports from the warehouse to the picking station and significantly reduces order throughput times. Another advantage is the simple order-based sequencing of items.
