Julius vom Hofe: Making optimum use of space
Six years ago, the manufacturer of switch handles and electrical components, Hurst + Schröder GmbH from Werdohl, had to expand its warehouse with a steel construction platform. Increased demands on the packaging warehouse now made another extension necessary. With the task of providing new storage space, the company turned to the shelving manufacturer hofe Regalsysteme, who had already realized the warehouse with pallet racking and the first extension with a steel construction platform. The solution: another steel construction platform that connects the first platform by means of a bridge. This made it possible to use the space and create around 200 m² of new storage space. The bridge now serves as a packaging warehouse.
