IFOY application 2018 started
Ismaning near Munich, 06.09.2017 - The 2018 Intralogistics Oscars are now open again. The application portal for the world's most important intralogistics award has opened today and suppliers of products and system solutions can submit their innovations. In future, apps, software solutions and robots or robot-assisted solutions for intralogistics applications will compete for the new titles of "Intralogistics Software of the Year" and "Intralogistics Robot of the Year". For the first time, "Cranes and Lifting Equipment" will also be honored. In the new "Integrated Warehouse Solution" category, the focus is not on vehicles, but on planning and implementation expertise. The prize is awarded for successfully implemented integrated warehouse concepts for a customer. The "Special Vehicle" category has been expanded to include "Heavy Load Forklifts".
In addition to special vehicle construction, container stackers, truck-mounted forklifts and heavy-duty forklifts with a load capacity of over eight tons can also be registered there. The traditional forklift categories "Counter Balanced Truck" up to 3.5 and over 3.5 tons as well as the "Warehouse Truck" categories "highlifter" and "lowlifter" for warehouse trucks with a lifting height above and below six meters remain unchanged. The "Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV)" category includes driverless transport vehicles and shuttles. In the "Special of the Year" category, prizes are awarded for outstanding technical details or components, such as ergonomic innovations, safety solutions or automation components. The jury's decision will be announced during the CeMAT opening ceremony on April 23, 2017 in Hanover. red
