CO₂ management: Europa Worldwide Group relies on Blue Yonder

Europa Worldwide has implemented Blue Yonder's CO₂ management capabilities - recently enhanced by the acquisition of Pledge - within its Road Freight division in the UK, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Convincing CO₂ emissions reports

The company chose Blue Yonder's solution because of its ability to produce accurate and detailed CO₂ emissions reports based on millions of data points and advanced emissions modeling. Blue Yonder's Logistics Emissions Calculator provides GLEC accredited and ISO 14083 compliant calculations. Blue Yonder's seamless API integration with Europa Worldwide's transportation management system enables efficient CO₂ reporting.

Before switching from Europa Worldwide to Blue Yonder, the company's internal emissions reporting did not have the level of detail and accreditation required to implement effective sustainability measures. To meet customer demands for more accurate data, a more powerful solution was sought that would be able to support the global Net Zero initiative.

Expansion of CO₂ reporting to air and sea freight planned

The new reporting system was initially implemented in Europa Worldwide's Road Freight division and has been used extensively by customers, with up to four new customers per week. Europa Worldwide aims to roll out Blue Yonder's Logistics Emissions Calculator to its air and ocean freight customers by the end of 2025 and to integrate emissions reporting into its customer self-service portal to improve accessibility and ease of use.
