AI platform
New start-up aims to facilitate access to robotics
Pssbl.Robotics, a start-up founded jointly by Schubert and Weiss, aims to simplify the introduction of robotics in mechanical and plant engineering.
Managing Director Tobias Frank relies on integrated robot packages and a partly AI-based control platform.
The idea behind the newly founded company is as simple as it is revolutionary. Pssbl. (pronounced "Possible") has set itself the goal of making robotics intuitive, user-friendly and adaptable. The technologies should be accessible to everyone. The start-up will design its solutions in such a way that they will work regardless of the user's skills, technical knowledge, language and framework conditions. At the same time, the platform leaves interfaces open so that plant and machine manufacturers can integrate their expertise into the system.
Demand for automation and robotics
"Automation and robotics are the drivers of a strong manufacturing economy - in high-wage countries, but especially in emerging regions. With Pssbl. we enable companies to participate in economic success, regardless of their stage of development. pssbl. will make ideas come true free from restrictive framework conditions and with the involvement of customer know-how," says Tobias Frank, Managing Director of Pssbl. The graduate engineer in robotics and automation technology has been with Weiss for over ten years and brings with him a wealth of experience.
Pssbl. has high aspirations, but with Schubert and Weiss, the company is backed by two experienced market players. The two family-owned companies are united by over 100 years of success in mechanical engineering and automation, which they are now combining in Pssbl. The company is based in Buchen. The entry in the commercial register was made on November 6, 2023. Schubert Business Development and Weiss each hold 50 percent of the newly founded company.
