Supply Chain Management Software
Setlog is now part of Rhenus
The software manufacturer Setlog has been part of the Rhenus Group since October 24, 2023. Setlog was founded in 2001 by Guido Brackelsberg, Ralf Düster and Jakob Gielen and has since developed into a specialist for end-to-end supply chain management solutions.
When digitizing the supply chain, Setlog focuses on transparency, end-to-end data communication without media disruptions and the replacement of manual processes. With the OSCA system, customers network collaboratively with all partners along their supply chain. Integration via a central platform enables comprehensive communication and data exchange. Holistic control of the end-to-end supply chain is therefore guaranteed at any time and any place. The two companies already know each other through their collaboration within the Open Logistics Foundation (see page 43). Setlog and Rhenus see the merger as an opportunity to further expand Setlog's software solutions, market them worldwide and thus make them accessible to even more sectors and customers.
"The merger with Rhenus now offers us another opportunity to respond to the constantly changing and increasingly complex requirements in logistics. The affinity of both companies and our complementary skills will promote our long-term growth," says Ralf Düster, a member of Setlog's Management Board. The partnership is a strategic investment through which new solutions for customers can be jointly developed and implemented. For the employees and customers, who mainly come from the Textile & Apparel and Fast Moving Consumer Goods sectors, there will be no changes to day-to-day business. The software manufacturer will continue to operate independently under its own logo and with its own business. The neutrality of the company will be maintained and is a prerequisite for the further expansion of the business.
