Details with great benefits

The demand for digital and dynamic labeling of objects, especially within logistics processes, is continuously increasing. It is therefore not surprising that a specialist for complex labeling such as Faubel now handles a large number of projects in which RFID tags and e-paper displays are installed.

"The difficulty with these projects lies in combining the hardware efficiently and integrating it smoothly into the customer's existing infrastructure," explains Frank Jäger, Managing Director of Faubel and responsible for the New Technologies department, among other things. Three standard displays are now available for the Faubel-Logistics Label: 1.54 inch, 2.9 inch and 4.2 inch. The Smart Label continues to function without a battery and still permanently displays texts, numbers, codes and pictograms. The contactless data transfer between RFID tag and reader complies with ISO standards 14443 and 15693. Frank Jäger emphasizes that "this means that there is a large selection of stationary and mobile readers for the Faubel-Logistics label. Even smartphones are suitable.
