Sensor data from mobile systems and components can also be recorded, transmitted and evaluated via the "nexy" communication network. This provides a platform that can, for example, integrate AGV fleets and mobile eKanban systems into higher-level IT systems. Continuous communication is ensured via access points and a "sensor bridge", with the wireless protocol offering specific advantages such as a sleep mode with minimal "wake-up time" and particularly low energy consumption. Sensors from other manufacturers can also be equipped with a nexy wireless module and are then fully network-compatible.
