Peripheral devices for potentially explosive atmospheres

ecom instruments is expanding its Mobile Worker ecosystem with two new peripheral devices - the Ident-Ex 01 hand-held scanner and the BLE Beacon Loc-Ex 01 for ATEX/IECEx Zone 1. The Ident-Ex 01 is an "all-in-one" barcode scanner and RFID reader for hazardous areas. With its modular design, the Ident-Ex 01 can be specially configured. The different head modules - RFID, 1D / 2D barcode - enable RFID tags, 1D and 2D barcode types to be read from any angle and distance. ecoms Loc-Ex 01 - BLE beacons, on the other hand, are radio beacons that transmit Bluetooth Low Energy signals for positioning and navigation. In conjunction with a smartphone and tablet, they become a standardized business intelligence solution in hazardous areas.
