Efaflex: Protection in time with the machine
The door specialist Efaflex scores with new high-speed machine safety doors: the EFA-SST-MS high-speed spiral door and the EFA-SRT-MS high-speed roller shutter door. High-performance and EC type-tested, these two machine safety doors are certified as safety components in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC with a performance level "d" for use as movable guards. Specially designed for industrial applications, the doors are used to separate the danger zone between the machine and people in order to protect people from unavoidable health hazards caused by the machines. The EFA-SST-MS and the EFA-SRT-MS are used together with the machine's control system as a single-acting, power-operated and separating protective device to ensure the highest level of safety for people on machines and systems. The safety limit switches for interlocking and monitoring the safely closed position of the door also enable effective coupling with the machine control system.
