Easier docking with Koch storage technology
"Mattresses for a good night's sleep" - this is the slogan used by the mattress and upholstered bed manufacturer Breckle to promote itself. More than 10,000 mattresses are manufactured every day - and now the Northeim site has been further expanded from the total of three locations. At the interfaces for incoming and outgoing goods, the company relies on loading technology from Koch-Lagertechnik for every expansion. This consists of robust dock levellers with a feed length of 600 millimetres. Lateral parts of the feed are movable and slide back when a vehicle docks with a slight offset. Breckle always uses the tried-and-tested TAS-SK model from Koch to equip the doors with door seals. Foam cores in the side panels and the automatic lifting roof of this model ensure that vehicles approaching incorrectly or overheight can practically not damage the door seals. For jumbo trucks with a high interior height and low chassis, the dock shelter needs a greater overall height. No problem for Koch - all door seals are made to measure in Lage.
