Tino Bauer new head of the DSLV expert committee for rail freight transport
The Rail Freight Transport Committee of the DSLV German Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association has elected Tino Bauer, Managing Partner of Bauer Spedition GmbH, Callenberg, as its new Chairman. At the committee meeting on May 21, Bauer succeeded Axel Plaß, Zippel Group, who stepped down as Chairman of the committee following his election as President of the DSLV in September 2018.
"I am delighted to be able to continue the successful work of the expert committee as Chairman. It is particularly important to me to strengthen the rail system as a whole, to engage in direct dialog with decision-makers in politics and ministries, and to implement effective and short-term measures that make it easier for the economy to switch to rail," said Bauer about his goals as Chairman.
The 51-year-old Bauer has been Deputy Chairman of the expert committee since 2016. In his new role, Bauer is now also a member of the Extended Presidium of the DSLV. Günter Miksch, Transa Spedition GmbH, Offenbach, was elected as the new Deputy Chairman of the Rail Freight Transport Committee of the Freight Forwarding Association.
