Peter Nussbaum's successor
Thomas Herren new CFO at Gilgen Logistics
Thomas Herren is the new CFO of the Swiss family-owned company Gilgen Logistics. He replaces Peter Nussbaum on the Executive Board, who is taking early retirement.
Thomas Herren joins the company and takes over the Finance and Administration division. In addition to the Finance & Controlling unit, this division is responsible for other central services and ICT. IT plays a significant role in driving forward the digitalization of internal and external processes. This has been a strategic focus of the intralogistics company for some time, and Tobias Soltermann has also been in the lead here for a few months.
Thomas Herren has worked for the energy company BKW for the past 16 years in various functions. Initially as a specialist in Consolidation & Accounting and later as Head of the central Financial Accounting unit and as Investor Relations Officer of the BKW Group. Prior to that, he worked as an auditor for industrial companies.
The current CFO, Peter Nussbaum, will take early retirement at his own request at the end of 2022 after a total of 34 years at Gilgen Logistics. "The Gilgen owner family would like to thank Peter Nussbaum for his great personal commitment to the company and wish him all the best for the future," reads a press release.
