Silverton Maritime Solutions strengthens its team
Hamburg, 29.06.2018 - Silverton Maritime Solutions (Silverton Maritime) is expanding its range of services to include compliance and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and has strengthened its existing team with Susanne Mertens and Frank Bergert as Senior Consultants.
Susanne Mertens previously worked for many years at HypoVereinsbank AG and DNB Bank ASA as an advisor to clients in the maritime industry with management responsibility. A fully qualified lawyer, she is also a Certified Compliance Officer. Frank Bergert, who holds a degree in business administration, has extensive expertise in financial management, including the implementation of M&A transactions and the establishment of compliance management systems. Frank Bergert was Chief Finance Officer at two German shipping companies for fourteen years, initially eleven years at Erck Rickmers Holding and then three years at Claus-Peter Offen Holding. He has also worked for Jungheinrich and Hapag-Lloyd.

Silverton Maritime Solutions GmbH was founded last year as a joint venture between the Silverton Group and Ulf Bertheau with the aim of advising buyers and sellers on the sale of ship loans and providing loan servicing as an external service provider.
