Robert Holliger re-elected President of EPAL
The General Assembly of the European Pallet Association e.V. (EPAL) on June 28 in Toulouse, France, unanimously confirmed the incumbent President Robert Holliger and the entire EPAL Board in office for a further three years.
Robert Holliger, founding member of EPAL, has been President of the international umbrella organization for exchangeable load carriers such as the Euro pallet and the pallet cage since 2010. In his role, he has made a decisive contribution to the development and success of the quality assurance association for load carriers. Under his presidency, the "EPAL in an oval" brand has become a trademark for quality and safety. Brand protection and combating counterfeiting will therefore continue to be important cornerstones for maintaining the quality of the pallet exchange pool in the future. Another important project of the association is the development of the intelligent pallet in collaboration with the Fraunhofer IML, an important step towards digital load carriers.
