In order to take account of the increasing number of employees at their locations, Frank Liebelt took over Group responsibility as Managing Director of the overnight logistics company Sovereign Speed alongside Karim El-Sayegh and Martin Araman on September 1.

Group Managing Director Karim El-Sayegh underpins the strategic decision as follows: "After a long search, we are certain that we have found the right addition in Frank Liebelt. He has the necessary experience, shares our corporate values and has followed Sovereign's development since the company was founded. In addition, Frank Liebelt is an expert in leadership and organization and is also very experienced in other areas of the company. With him on the Executive Board, we will take the Group to a new level to achieve our corporate goals in the coming years."

Liebelt himself is very much looking forward to this new, exciting challenge: "I am attracted by Sovereign's dynamism and unconditional customer focus as well as the special corporate culture. "I'm looking forward to combining my experience in logistics and human resources at Sovereign," adds the law graduate.

Frank Liebelt was most recently Chief People Officer at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, where he oversaw the restructuring of the group of companies. Prior to this, he was responsible for HR at large industrial companies such as Dräger, Nordex and the Vaillant Group. He started his career at DB Schenker as Head of HR Central Functions from 1997 to 2001.
