Ultrasonic sensors for many applications
Leuze presents the 420B and 412B ultrasonic sensor series. The ultrasonic sensors are available with adjustable sound beam and as switching (HTU) or measuring (DMU) sensors for flexible applications.
The sound beam can be set to narrow, medium or wide in three stages via an IO-Link interface and adapted to the respective application. The sensors reliably detect where optical sensors reach their limits. They also detect shiny, reflective, very dark or transparent surfaces and liquids without any problems.
The 420B series comprises ultrasonic sensors in compact cubic plastic housings. It replaces the 420 series. With the new devices, users benefit from smaller blind zones with the same or greater sensor range. The 412B series complements the cylindrical sensor portfolio in M12 housings with devices with IO-Link and analog output. System operators can also use the DMU420B and DMU412B ultrasonic distance sensors for distance measurements.
