Farm overview 2.0 with inconsoYMS
Process automation along the entire supply chain is increasingly coming into focus - also at the interface between warehouse and transportation. inconsoYMS (Yard Management System) is a software solution for traffic planning and control that centrally consolidates processes that are often planned independently of each other and reduces waiting times, planning uncertainties and therefore costs.
The logistics software specialist inconso is presenting extended functionalities in the form of the latest software release, which has extended control and control station functionalities, newly developed app features and extension modules for the "Smart Yard".
The new release of inconsoYMS provides functionalities for the control of loading and unloading traffic and the management of resources on the factory premises. This includes the modernized graphical control station for improved traceability of processes and transport movements in the yard. inconsoYMS also contains extended functions for the management of multi-deep bridge and trailer parking spaces as well as collection points. With its sophisticated, configurable mapping options, the functionally enhanced solution thus creates optimization potential for yard topologies of all kinds.
The new release also includes inconsoYMS, the newly developed, multilingual business app with integrated guidance system. It serves as a navigation system for arriving trucks and as a communication medium between dispatchers and drivers. This enables inconsoYMS to replace technical components in the form of pager systems and local WLAN infrastructures for controlling movements on the yard premises. inconsoYMS also allows integrated voice control scenarios, for example in combination with current releases of the Amazon Echo. As part of the inconso Logistics Suite, the system can be integrated into existing system landscapes, but can also be used in stand-alone operation.
