New: LogiVisor Award 2019
Experts award prizes to the best contract logistics companies
There are many awards - but do the best logistics service providers with the most innovative solutions also win, regardless of their company size? The new LogiVisor Award, in which LT-manager is also involved, aims to guarantee this.
"Better decisions through more transparency" is the self-imposed claim of the business location platform Gewerbegebiete.de. The range of information available to companies from the production and retail sectors looking for potential logistics partners on the platform is being continuously expanded. However, the logistics landscape in Germany is diverse, with many first-class service companies: From specialized small businesses to solid medium-sized companies to global logistics groups. A complete overview of all service providers seems almost impossible. This is why Gewerbegebiete.de has launched the LogiVisor Award, a new and neutral "service provider finder" that enables all logistics service providers to present themselves free of charge on a central platform for companies from industry and trade.
"Our experience shows that the best realized logistics solutions are not always the best known and the best logistics service providers are not known by all clients. Through the evaluation from the field, some 'hidden champions' will receive more attention," expects Kuno Neumeier, Managing Director of Logivest GmbH. The first presentation of the LogiVisor Award by Gewerbegebiete.de will take place at the same time as this year's transport logistic trade fair in Munich. On June 5, the "best contract logistics service providers in Germany" will initially be honored in four industry segments.
"The time is ripe for a new and modern format. The judgment of logistics professionals is still the best basis for assessing potential logistics partners. I am delighted that so many representatives of retail and industrial companies will be taking part. The LogiVisor Award brings justified attention to the best and not just the biggest service providers," says Stephan Meyer, owner of Stephan Meyer Management Consulting and co-initiator of the award.
The jury is made up of experienced logistics professionals from industrial and retail companies, supplemented by a core jury team of neutral and independent logistics experts. Martin Schrüfer, Managing Editor-in-Chief of the trade journals LT-manager and materialfluss, is on board as a media representative. The application phase for interested contract logistics companies begins in March. All information on the application process, the assessment criteria and the awards ceremony in June can be found at www.logivisor.com.
