Sweeping work
Nilfisk presents new ride-on sweeper Viper ROS1300
The new Viper ROS1300 ride-on sweeper from cleaning equipment manufacturer Nilfisk has two side brushes, 24V batteries and a maximum working speed of 8 km/h.
The model can cover up to 8,100 square meters in one hour. The rear-wheel drive can overcome ramps and slopes with a gradient of up to 16 percent. Dust control and dirt collection systems ensure healthy work processes so that the uninterrupted cleaning of indoor areas the size of a soccer pitch does not become a physical strain. The Viper ROS1300 is also user-friendly to operate: while the user has the entire work area in view from their ergonomic seat, they can start all the main functions at the touch of a button via an intuitive control panel.
To remove loose dirt such as leaves, sand or stones quickly and safely, the user first starts the machine via the one-touch control panel, whereby the main and side brushes are automatically lowered and suction begins (the same applies when the machine is switched off, of course). Only the misting system for the side brushes has to be switched on or off separately if the machine is used in dust-sensitive environments. But even here, the switch and water level indicator are in direct view. The user can also set the brush pressure and side brush speed in just a few simple steps.
With a cleaning width (with two side brushes) of 1,350 millimetres, the Viper ROS1300 now works its way through the area, whereby larger debris can be picked up via a foot-operated front flap. Once the capacity of the 130-liter hopper has been reached, it can be removed and emptied on wheels. When removing heavy dirt, three small optional insert containers make work easier. Thanks to the tool-free maintenance, the user is not burdened with time-consuming routine tasks once the work is done.
