Aerial work platform broker with new boss
Pedro Torres takes over Riwal
Riwal, one of the leading full-service rental companies for aerial work platforms and telehandlers, has appointed Pedro Torres as CEO of the Netherlands-based Riwal Group with immediate effect.
Torres' appointment builds on his extensive 25 years of leadership experience in the international rental industry. He joined Riwal in 2012 as Regional Director and was promoted to COO in 2015. Over the years, he has strongly contributed to the company's positive operational results, the implementation of The Riwal Way, the program to continuously improve the quality of all services, as well as the improvement of the corporate culture. Together with René Timmers (CFO) and Søren Rosenkrands (CBDO), he has successfully set the direction for the further growth of Riwal's international activities in recent years.
Ellen Meijer, member of Riwal's Board of Directors, comments: "We are very pleased that we have been able to select the right person for the position from within the company. The other members of Riwal's Executive Management Team fully support the appointment of Pedro Torres.
