Flexible transportation for heavyweights
CE partner teamtechnik Industrieausrüstung GmbH developed a heavy-duty turntable in conjunction with standard transfer systems from Bosch Rexroth for the flexible transportation of battery modules weighing up to 1,000 kg through production and assembly lines.
The Bosch Rexroth partner network is growing continuously. In 2021, further medium-sized partner companies have been certified as Certified Excellence (CE) Partners for Distribution, Service and Solutions and provide regional support to customers in the fields of factory automation and mobile applications. In doing so, they quickly take up current challenges and use Bosch Rexroth's expertise for customized solutions.
Baden-Württemberg is home to numerous automotive companies that are increasingly focusing on electromobility. The weight and dimensions of battery modules often exceed the existing transfer equipment. teamtechnik solves these challenges with a heavy-duty turntable that, in combination with the TS 5 transfer system from Bosch Rexroth, covers any route. It carries battery modules weighing up to 1,000 kg with dimensions of up to 1,450 x 1,700 mm. An extension of the load capacities and dimensions is already under development. Users use the solution to move complete battery modules through their hall. The table, which can be continuously rotated in both directions, is based on Rexroth components and automation technology that have been available for a long time. The software for the ready-to-connect turntable was implemented by the teamtechnik engineers themselves. The turntable can be integrated into plant control systems and higher-level IT systems.
