Precise marking of laser foil labels
Bluhm Systeme has developed a new system consisting of a laser marker and label dispenser. The "LFM100" has been specially designed for the robust, clearly legible and precise marking of laser foil labels. It can be used to mark labels in various sizes up to 98x98mm and any shape directly from the roll and cut them out without additional tools.
The LFM100 is therefore suitable as a manual workstation for the production of flexible type plates, among other things. These are used wherever electronic components, machines or devices need to be clearly and permanently identified. They contain descriptive information about the object, such as: Manufacturer, serial number, construction type or performance data. Data matrix codes and other barcodes can also be integrated for unique identification. Type plates often have to withstand difficult requirements: The surface and adhesive must be resistant even under difficult temperature conditions, often over a long period of time. Even after a long period of time, the print must remain legible, smudge-proof and scratch-resistant.
Complete solution for flexible nameplates
The LFM100 is a solution for marking, punching and cutting laser-sensitive labels. Unlike conventional label printers, which print the label material using ink or thermal transfer technology, the LFM100 uses a laser beam for marking. Basically, any coated label material can be labeled with the LFM100. The laser beam removes the lacquer layer, resulting in high-contrast and durable labeling. The layout and content of the labels are created using the "Solpad" software supplied and can be transferred to the laser controller via USB stick.
Laser foil labels are particularly robust
The advantage of laser foil labels is their resistance to thermal, chemical and physical stresses, as well as the high contrast and excellent resolution that laser marking achieves on them.
