Gerhard Burits new CFO at Elatec

Elatec has appointed CFO Gerhard Burits to the management board. The 49-year-old previously gained experience with international growth and acquisitions at Thyssenkrupp Elevator and most recently at the Domoferm Group. Elatec is thus focusing its management more strongly on expansion: The previous CFO Thomas Graf will focus on managing the areas of digitalization, automation and IT in future.

As CFO, Gerhard Burits is also operationally responsible for accounting, controlling, customer service, purchasing and legal affairs at Elatec. "I am looking forward to becoming a part of Elatec and getting to know the views and ideas of my colleagues. Elatec has a great team, is on course for growth and I will contribute my experience to develop new strategies to support this course," says Gerhard Burits.

Stefan Haertel, CEO of Elatec GmbH, explains: "Even in difficult times, we cannot pause, but want to develop further. This will ensure that we can overcome this crisis and continue to meet the needs of our customers in the future. I am delighted to have gained additional expertise and capacity with Gerhard Burits and at the same time to be able to meet the development wishes of Thomas Graf, who wants to devote himself entirely to the strategic growth factors of digitalization and automation. With Gerhard Burits, our management team is gaining valuable know-how for shaping our international growth course."
