Still supports Hamburg children and youth projects

For many years now, Hamburg-based intralogistics specialist Still has been supporting three local projects that promote equal participation in education, culture and social interaction for Hamburg's children and young people. This year was no exception: Frank Müller, Senior Vice President Still Brand Management, presented a cheque for 5,000 euros each to the Mittagskinder Foundation, the Kultur Palast Hamburg Foundation and the Wilhelmsburg Production School.

Supporting children and young people from difficult social backgrounds and giving them access to education, culture and the job market is a task that is very close to the heart of Hamburg-based intralogistics specialist Still. "Especially in these challenging times, it is the responsibility of all of us to show children and young people that we stand by their side and do our best to give them a successful, healthy and secure future," explained Frank Müller, Senior Vice President Still Brand Management. "Qualifying them and training them to become competent specialists is also a valuable investment in the future of Hamburg's economy." For this reason, Still has been supporting the Hamburg projects Stiftung Mittagskinder, Stiftung Kultur Palast Hamburg and the Wilhelmsburg production school with an annual donation of 5,000 euros each for several years. Frank Müller personally presented the donation checks to all three institutions yesterday.

Around 200 children in Hamburg regularly receive a healthy lunch from the Mittagskinder foundation. They also receive attention, companionship and qualified support with their homework. The Kultur Palast Hamburg foundation has been promoting cultural understanding through integrative music and dance projects for more than 40 years. The Wilhelmsburg Production School is particularly committed to equal access to education. Here, young people with poor starting conditions are trained for the transition to the job market, particularly in the vocational fields of technology, wood, gastronomy, retail and hairdressing.

In addition to financial support, Still also offers internships, company tours and even apprenticeships in collaboration with the production school. "The sustainable and reliable support from Still - both on a financial and practical level - is very valuable for us and the young people who go through our project," reports Bera Bischoff, Head of Vocational Training BI Vocational and Integration Elbinseln gGmbH. "Among other things, it enables us to further expand product-oriented and digital learning and to offer young people practical insights into the job market and concrete opportunities to start a career."
