Lithium-ion technology for new high lift truck series
Jungheinrich presented its new electric pallet trucks from the EJC 1i series at Logimat 2024 in Stuttgart. For the first time, the company is also consistently using lithium-ion technology in this truck class.
Jungheinrich offers its EJC 1i series with a wide range of different variants. These include the EJC 110i/112i as a standard truck, which can transport loads of up to 1,200 kilograms and can be ordered up to a lifting height of 4.70 meters. The EJC 110zi/112zi model variant with additional lift is also available, in which the wheel arms can be lifted in addition to the forks. The additional lift has a load capacity of up to 1,600 kilograms.
For simple stacking tasks, the company offers a model variant with a single mast, which achieves lifting heights of up to 2.00 meters with a tonnage of up to 1,000 kilograms. A wide-track version is also suitable for handling special load carriers, closed pallets and the transverse transport of Euro pallets. Jungheinrich has designed the pre-configured and therefore quickly available EJC 010i for light and occasional use with a special focus on online sales. It can transport loads of up to 1,000 kilograms and reaches lifting heights of up to 3.60 meters. Although the trucks in the EJC 1i series are considerably more compact and smaller than their predecessors, Jungheinrich has succeeded in significantly improving their stability once again. This has been made possible by intelligent weight distribution within the truck chassis and the associated optimization of the truck's centre of gravity as well as the use of new mast profiles. The result is a considerable increase in residual load capacity of more than 150 kilograms. The EJC 112i thus achieves a very good value in this vehicle segment with a residual load capacity of at least 550 kilograms per 4.70 meters.
