Still leverages efficiency potential with lithium-ion batteries
The Hamburg-based industrial truck manufacturer Still wants to take a consistent step towards electromobility by 2017 and offer 90 percent of all Still vehicles with lithium-ion batteries (Li-Ion). Further warehouse technology models, tractors and a first counterbalance truck
with Li-ion batteries will be presented by Still at CeMAT. The intralogistics specialist is focusing on an in-house solution for battery and charging technology. To ensure that the advantages of this battery technology can be optimally utilized, Still is focusing not only on a significantly expanded product range with Li-ion batteries, but also on comprehensive advice on the subject of Li-ion technology, so that logistics processes can be planned for the long term and sustainably and the advantages of Li-ion technology can be efficiently exploited where they make sense.
